For many organizations, licensure and credential oversight is performed by departments and systems separate from the departments that are scheduling staff. Credentialer™ is fully integrated with the ShiftHound online scheduling application, and gives all concerned parties in the organization the ability to track credentials and related data for all staff members, enabling our customers to proactively manage a very complex, but important process.
What is a Credentialing Module?
ShiftHound has created a simple to use "cloud-based" online system for tracking staff credentials that can be accessed by anyone given permission, anywhere they have internet access. The system utilizes an easy to use interface to allow staff, managers and/or administrators to setup and track staff credentialing data such as credential types, expiration dates, notification times, and when key information was last updated and approved and by whom.
Key Features:
- Administrators can define credentials, licenses, required training, and certifications (or anything the organization needs to track for staff) as well as rules and requirements for each department and job type throughout a facility or organization.
- Different options can be enabled/disabled allowing the customer to tailor the module functionality to their organizational needs.
- Automatic notifications are sent to the staff member, managers, and/or administrators via email, announcements, and text messages to cell phones when credentials expire, are about to expire, or are missing.
- Staff who are out of compliance with these rules can be restricted from requesting shifts within a particular unit.
- PDFs of documents can be attached to any credential and easily viewed by anyone granted access.
- Staff have visibility as to what credentials are needed to work in a particular unit.
- You can add Staff members to the workflow and give them access to enter and manage their own credentialing information, as well as upload documents or missing data (only appropriate managers and/or administrators can APPROVE).
